Visa

Visa to Jordan is available at the port of entry for most nationalities however, Local Jordan Embassy or Consulate Offices should be contacted for the latest visa requirements for your nationality. The applicants should plan ahead.

Visa Documents: Please contact local Jordan Embassy/Consular Services Office for visa related inquiries.
Following documents are typically required by Embassies around the world for processing a visa however a complete list must be acquired from the respective Embassy.
1- Original Passport
2- One (or more) recent passport size color photograph with white background.
3- HONET-ICT 2017 acceptance letter (if presenting a paper/poster/workshop) and/or Proof of Online Registration for attendees and delegates. Accpectance letter can be requested from the conference organizers (and through registration portal) once the paper is accepted and registration is completed.
4- Some embassies also like to see proof of accomodation.
5- In some cases you may also be required to provide a visa letter. This can be requested from the organizers.

HONET-ICT 2017 will be held at Jordan University of Science and Technology, Irbid, Jordan.

Accommodation

It is recommended that conference participant’s stay at one of the following hotels in Irbid (which can be booked online via booking.com):

Sedrh Hotel
Seven Days Hotel

Irbid is located about 70 KM to the north of Amman. The conference will take place at JUST campus, which is 15 KM east of Irbid city.  A Complementary transportation from those hotels to campus is available in the morning and at the end of the sessions.  
Participants have the option to stay in Amman and can book hotels online. In this case, participants are responsible for their own transportation from/to Amman to/from the conference location in JUST, Irbid.
